This brother should be home with his daughters. It’s hard, but #KeepPushing

Again, gravy's message is stop arresting black people for breaking the law.

If that’s the case, why not drop college kids off after picking them up and just issuing them a citation. No need for an arrest.

I’m actually ok with that

Why not just take him to his sisters house and tow the car at most

Said this in another thread but I will post it again.

As an officer if you take a drunk driver home you accept some liability if he gets behind the wheel of another vehicle and injures someone while impaired.

I wonder why they never advise compliance with a cop’s orders? Don’t resist arrest.

Rayshard Brooks should be alive. A few things to consider. In the world of COVID-19 I thought we were trying to keep jails empty, to help stop the spread. Why not just take him to his sisters house and tow the car at most. BECAUSE HE BROKE THE LAW BY DRIVING DRUNK. The brother was respectful, and yes he had to much to drink. He wasn’t in motion when the cops found him sleep in the drive thru. His car was already parked, why did the cop have to arrest him? BECAUSE HE BROKE THE LAW BY DRIVING DRUNK. Let’s start and end there. Before you get to anything else, why can’t a Black man being respectful be given the grace to just go home? BECAUSE HE BROKE THE LAW BY DRIVING DRUNK. The fact that a cop can shoot you in the back and go home is disgusting to me. The police are the ones trained for these situations. Or so departments tell us. This never even needed to be an arrest. SO DRUNK DRIVERS SHOULDNT BE ARRESTED? Issue a situation and drop him off at his sisters house. Everybody goes home. He just had to take him to jail. YES... HE WAS DRIVING DRUNK. THAT IS CALLED A CRIME PUNISHABLE BY BEING ARRESTED. even after he said he had daughters at home. We can’t let up this time. We have to lean in, because otherwise it won’t stop. This brother should be home with his daughters. It’s hard, but #KeepPushing

But if some drunk hit his fat arse in his mom’s car he’d be screaming why don’t the cops get these people off of the street. I really wonder if that fat pile of shite knows how retarded he sounds on a daily basis.

I was talking with someone last week about how cops used to handle DWIs back in the day. They used to let you get someone to pick you up or follow you home. MADD and lawyers ruined that practice.

Welcome to the age of body cameras. That used to be a common courtesy but those times are gone.
