Looking at the cowboy boots thread seems a lot of people here are bothered but what others wear 
So what say they OT! Does it bother you when somebody wears loafers, pants, and no socks?

but I have completely no show socks that I wear with low ankle shoes.

i wear no show socks with them. no socks at all is gross. I used to do no socks with sperry's back in the day and those things smelled like hell

I wore loafers with no socks for years. I liked it. I would wear socks with loafers on occasion if in a social setting like a restaurant dinner with others.

If you stick your shoes in a bag in the freezer it will get the smell off.
