According to the Sheriff’s Office, a shoplifting complaint was called in just before 4 p.m. on Feb. 2, when two females and one male allegedly entered a retailer, grabbed merchandise from the shelves, and left without paying.
After exiting the store, the trio left Crossing Way in a dark gray sedan with no license plate, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Many stores have a “zero intervention” policy on shop lifting. The potential injury liability far exceeds the lost product. Employees can be immediately terminated at some businesses for intervening in a possible theft.

Saw a video not too long ago from a home improvement place. Employee baw followed a perpetual and took stolen merchandise from back of their truck as they tried to escape. Employee baw was fired
