Anyone have any experience living in Kuala Lumpur or somewhere in Thailand/Indonesia? I'm contemplating applying to some job postings in these areas

Largest Islamic city in the world. I'm sure a white American would fit in just fine

Worked in the area for a few weeks about 15 years ago. They love American.......'s money.

If you're asking, and I think you are, which has the better quality lady-boys, then Malaysia is your answer.

Ignorance.
I'd live in Kuala Lumpur if given a good opportunity.

Would be me and fiancé, who is down to move abroad. I'd only apply to jobs for major energy or chemical companies. I figured if i actually receive a follow up from an application, life is short and would be fun to experience a different culture while young

Good friend has lived in Thailand 25 years. Good food, pleasant people, and money goes a long way.

It's probably not the largest but I bet it's top 15. It's a big arse Islamic City and there isn't any debating that

Ditto. Had a friend that worked for Exxon that lived in Malaysia back in the late 90's. He had zero issues. He was married with a kid.

Travelled there often about 15 years ago and loved it. I've often though about consulting there when I retire.
