Living by myself was great when I worked in an office with 100 people. Working AND living alone is a bit much. My cat is pretty much sick of me pulling his tail 25 times a day.

I get what you're saying, but there are maybe one or two times a year, I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat. Job, Wife, 8yr old, and a 6yr old makes me wish I could go somewhere and not have to speak to or deal with anyone for about a month sometimes.

You’ll get used to it. You’re in a transition period in your life where you’re still adjusting. I went through something similar. A lot of people do especially if you come from a big family or a family with a lot of noise.
What helped me was always leaving the TV on or playing a podcast or something. Your light Bill might not like you for a few months but it will help you transition. In a couple of months, you won’t care as much

Was married for 9 years and have 2 kids. Divorced going on 4 years. Miss the times I’d come home and they’d run to the door when I got home from work among other things..
Would love to have those days back....
