yes
much like Live PD & Live Rescue... they have the TV crews with them pretty much everyday documenting stuff for slow days
and the "live" stuff won't really be "live" either... it's probably happened about 30-45 minutes before it actually airs

That's not why they went to a commercial. This atv piece was recorded quite a while ago. They previewed it on the beginning of the show.
