Shows the level of respect they have for cops. Without live PD, we would have never seen this happen. But if that cop would have done one thing wrong, it would be on every news website you could find

This does not have near enough up votes. Need about 20M more.

Then its not Live.

It's as live as you're gonna get on 2017 television you slap dick. Present me with a show on TV that's 'live' to you.

ETA: nevermind. You used CNN as an example. You are dumber than a box of rocks.

Sporting events are live.

No they aren't there is a 15-30 second delay minimum. The Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" changed all that.

I have seen 10 minutes of that show and it was right at the end of that chase. Watching it now when he went into that pocket I thought all hell no officer going down.

Crazy shite. I would have shot him as a by stander watching him go to the pocket.

The deputy even asked a bystander for help.

How long do you think this show will air before someone says it's a racist show since the majority of the criminals shown are black

Facts are racist

I also think the stance by live pd of we are only there to observe is bs also

Yea, I remember watching a few episodes of COPS where the camera guy jumped in when the officer was struggling.

The camera person probably froze.

FCC only deals with 'obscene' content on subscription based channels so vulgar language doesn't count.

If memory serves me correctly, they said there would be an 8 minute delay when the show first aired.

If I'm that cameraman, I'm jumping in and losing my job before I let Mastrianni get stabbed or shot. Wouldn't even have to think about it. Especially considering how much time they spend together. They have to be friends by now.

That showed me how easy it would be in a struggle to pull a gun or knife out and kill a police officer.

That guy was able to get his weed out. Alton the poster boy of NBR was trying to get his gun out. He was able to get to his pockets pretty easy in that struggle.

Maybe the cameraman could clearly tell that the guy was pulling out a baggy.

i said it as it went down in the sat night thread. I would of lost my job. As soon as Mastrianni said help me, that camera would of been on the ground.

Did I hear one of the cops on scene call for a tac team?

I think the cops thought that crowd might be about to rush them.

Why didn't the camera man at least mention to Mastrianni that the suspect was reaching into his pockets?
