Trevor Summers is on trial for kidnapping his wife 5 years ago after they divorced.
Edit: He's not testifying. He's rested his case and will make closing arguments at some point today.

Live link now posted.
They got divorced, she had a restraining order against him. He showed up one night at her new house, dragged her out of bed, kept her in her minivan driving around for more than a day.
At one point they were at Walgreens and she tried to escape with her hands tied behind her back but he caught her and took off. A Walgreens employee saw what happened and the manhunt was on. This happened in Tampa.

Kind of a crazy story. Dude is in a bad way if that is their case AND he's defending himself.

Of course it did.

When the cops caught up with him and surrounded the van with both of them inside, he slashed his throat and said he was committing suicide for love but did a half assed attempt and the cops took him into custody.
He's a really smart dude but is obviously psychopathic in some way.

He's only doing this to frick with his ex and she looks like she's about to bolt out of the courtroom getting questioned by him.
I can't believe the judge is allowing this. Seems like it's really unfair to the victim.

He just fired his attorney, decided to represent himself and is about to cross examine his ex-wife.
Ted Bundy did something really similar iirc; crazy smart guy and impressed the judge enough to be let on a recess when ran away again lol

Yeah, that's him. And the judge gave him no instructions, just said have at it. He can't get near the jury without permission though.

I think he's doing a pretty good job...
Is his defense that he went over there for a booty call and they left together and she's claiming that he kidnapped her?

This is awesome! Imagine being on the stand having to answer questions from the man who *allegedly* kidnapped you. Only in Florida!
