Good god, 10-15 a year? Do you work in a prison?

I said, "little things."
Here's to hoping your check is not a "little thing."

GR, I work in Ebr! Those are the numbers of students that are directly related to me (current or former students at my school). There are more school wide that are sent away. I would say we have at least 40 students each year who are cuffed and stuffed. (I was an MP...I like that phrase.. )

Ah, so yes to the prison question.
Seriously, it's a little better that you include past students, but that's still a crazy number.

Thank you. I leave that place mentally and physically exhausted some days. The USMC was less stressful...but I love my job.
Now, if I could get the fed/state government to leave us alone and allow us to actually teach....screw all their needless paperwork and data charts....

My wife is an educator and wholeheartedly agrees. We are teaching kids to test rather than educating them.
Continue the fight, one battle at a time. Your contributions are lasting and they will pay dividends down the road. Tell Betty that you need one of those cakes every week.

Working for partners that have families and actually care about them, which means our group's priorities are structured accordingly. They also recognize that I do not have the same stake in what we're doing as they do, and they incentivize me accordingly, and when necessary, encourage me to put the firm after other things I have going on.
