He lacked proper clothing for the January weather.

Should have jacked him for his shoes at least.

There should be zero crackheads where I live. The cops even said they never get called for break-ins in my area. We are just outside the city limits too so not sure how that dude got out here if he was on foot.

I need more video footage but I don't think he is coming back. he wouldn't remember how to get there it seems.

he didn't knock or bang on your door like he needed help.

he either will not remember ever being there and was looking for something small to hock and get drug money. Or he was casing the house and will return like the other empty houses you spoke about.

You got cameras on motion detector get some sleep.

Not close to the fish streets at all. About 8 miles away actually.

I have been putting off putting the alarm next door because I am recasing all of my doors and windows so I can't really put the entry sensors up yet and I am not sure how to make the cameras make an alarm if they pick something up. Guess I need to go figure that out now.

Ring makes a jobsite kit. You might find it useful in your line of work. It is portable.

I had a random drunk dude enter my home at 3am once. I heard someone come in and I peaked out my room's door and saw him in my kitchen. He saw me and I didn't know what to do, so I said, "hey... man.." and then I shut the bedroom door. I was texting my friends about it and peaked back out the door and saw him take his shoes off and crash on my sofa. He went straight to sleep.

So I went outside and saw his truck parked closer to my neighbors with the door wide open and his phone was ringing. It was some girl that kept calling him. I think they had went through a breakup and he was super drunk. I figured he meant to go to my neighbors house, so I went and woke them up and they came to get their friend. When they got him out of my house and explained he was at the wrong house he said, "I could have been shot.."

I have jobsite cameras now but not the ring system. Some idiots that work for me were lazy and left tools behind one night and I had $1800 in tools stolen.

Had one literally shite in the middle of the floor of a flip house last year when they found nothing to steal because the house was gutted. The cops were not interested in taking any for DNA despite my request for them to.

A contractor friend of mine had his skid steerer stolen a few months back from his office. It had GPS and was found in Beaumont. The guy bought it from the thief for $5K. A $50K machine for $5K but they were too stupid to check it for GPS. Most newer machines all come with GPS and if not then a smart contractor is having it added.
