You can be certain that the rap out of Baton Rouge is definitely real. They aren't just "studio gangstas".

Some of you may remember a shooting involving nba youngboy in Miami. I think a bystander was killed and his girlfriend was hit.

Yoshi posted a video of himself riding in a car with a rifle, obviously in s Florida, that same day

These kids don’t give a frick

ETA- I may have some facts wrong, but it’s mostly correct

Jeez, the gap between lyrical genius between this guy and Ozzy or another real musician is wider than the Grand Canyon.

And now he gets to spend the rest of his life in prison getting abused by big bubba , or unless he posts bail and he gets iced by somebody..... well let’s see. I am a rapper and at 21 years old I control a lot of violence wherever I go..... so I get out on bail and everyone is after me like I have a target on my arse, OR I let big bubba rip my a-hole to shreds when ever he wants..... good luck little fella......

So NBA YoungBoy used the name of his gang/group in his rap name? Is this a trend now?

I'm so glad this wasn't t thing back in the day. Could you imagine how quickly NWA IceCube or NWA Eazy-E would have been laughed at?

The Top and The Bottom are two sub-neighborhoods in Old South Baton Rouge, a predominately black neighborhood between downtown and LSU west of Park/Dalrymple drive. The Top is on the highland ridge, the natural levee running along Highland Road, where the Bottom is, as the name suggests, lower land west of Highland Road. So, these rival gangs are representing neighboring hoods separated by geography.

I think everyone familiar with BR gets the reference. It's just funny that in such an anti gay culture like rap beef, the two gangs gunning for each other both have very gay connotations. The bears vs the twinks would have been less subtle

Seriously, a bunch of gangbangers couldn't come up with a less homoerotic vibe when it came to naming their gangs?

Splash, Baton Rouge’s most notorious gay night club is in Old South Baton Rouge.

Maybe it’s their PPP, or Preferred Prison Position.

except for the scary fact that most of these guys are actually shooters unlike Ice cube and Dr Dre. Didn't some insane BR judge let NBA Youngboy off on a drive by shooting if he said something nice about the victim?

Yeah, these rappers aren’t just using gang activity as a costume for their music career. They all have multiple kills to their name. Their gang identity is no joke, and their gangs are real serious crime enterprises.
