Just put it out by the road and Simone will pick it up within a day usually.
Don’t have to mess with all that.

Listed a free couch last week. 1st response had a profile full of guns and gang shite. No way they're getting my address.
I've sold maybe 6 items on FBM and I had the buyer meet me at a public parking lot. No way I'm selling something to a stranger and they are coming to my house.....and I was packing when I met with them.

Just put it at the side of the road on Friday morning. The odds of it being there at the end of the day are slim.
My ride service to an out of town doctor a couple years ago in November arrived in an older van and had me sitting up front. We didn’t make it out of the neighborhood before she stopped to pickup a bicycle at the curb with trash.
Turns out she had like 57 grandchildren and was Christmas shopping. The adults and older kids would fix up junk for the young ones to actually have stuff. Sweet old lady, bought me a bag of butterscotch candy while I was in with the doctor.

Giving them an inch and they want a mile. I guess it depends on where you live, the amount of traffic that passes by you, but just put something like that at the road and more than likely someone will pick it up.
Next time put a price on it. $20. It will filter out some of the people looking for a free handout. Something like that, people see as a way to make money. They get it from you then turn around and sell it for whatever they can.
Did you put in the ad "will go to the person who can pick it up in the quickest time"? If people bitch and complain because they can't get it until this day, etc.. Tell them to pretend they never saw the add.

Theo Von has a website where he posted a bunch of "cranktext" in which he would post a bullshite add on craigslist and then mess with the people who texted him about it.
This is one of better ones.

This man is not only on facebook...he has invited the worst of facebook to his home.
Back when MySpace first started my wife had an account. I did not like all of our information and pictures of us and our home on the internet for anyone to see. Back then my opinion was shared by many people. Now it's just accepted that fools post everything about themselves online and people who don't do so are the "weird" ones.

My favorite part is when people ask you to deliver or meet them halfway like 40-50 miles or some shite. If I load up whatever I’m trying to give away, it’s going in the dump. I have a free dump in my parish.
