He's blending his decades for sure, but I didn't want to call him out on it. it's Christmas time and I'm in a forgiving mood.
Plus, im sure my mom still has my velour shirts and tough skins jeans stashed away somewhere. Right next to the 8-track tapes of Barbara Streisand, Rose Royce, and John Denver.

When you say "70's" people think disco. They're completely missing the greatness that was funk.
Add in the fantastic rock and roll from 1970-1975 and the beginnings of punk rock at the end of the decade.

Remember these T-shirts that were huge in the 70’s? I remember it like it was yesterday.

Girl I had a crush on in the 4th grade wore a t-shirt that said "Too hot to handle"
Her hot older sister in high school was far out.
You dig, soul brotha?

1970s era rock and roll is the best, most pure form of rock and roll of all time.

Oh I dig . Rhonda in 6th grade with the enormously early rack had one that said “ Foxy “ . Later I showed her some yo yo tricks and then booked it home in time for some of Mom’s Rice a roni.

My first car, 1972 Chevy Nova, metallic brown, mag wheels and rims, 350, 4 barrel carb, glass pack muffler. Pioneer radio with 8 track, Jensen tri-axle speakers in door and rear, 7 band graphic equalizer that showed the beat in led lighting, pumping out Earth Wind & Fire, and some Con Funk Shun. (This was actually 1978-1982, so a bit of both eras)

I just cranked up Hearts “ cooked with fire “ to eleven in your honor. Every guitar trick in the book on that one. Channeling Led Zeppelin.

Wow that brought tears to Robert Plant’s eyes. Every time I ever saw Heart back in the day they played 2/3 Zepp songs . Usually Black Dog and Rock and Roll.
