Still sad though, LP was a huge staple of my teenage/high school years.

My friends and I would wear out Hybrid Theory while cruising around our Junior and Senior year. I haven't listened to them in years, but Linkin Park was a band that will always make me remember the good days of carefree life, and Chester's voice is what I hear when I think Linkin Park.

RIP Chester, I feel sorry that you felt like you had no choice but to end it.

Ha. The only idiot was Chester. He could have found medical help, and lived to be there emotionally for his kids, while breaking the abuse cycle. Instead, he took the easy route, and his kids will forever be effected.

Many people that commit suicide are under the care of medical professionals, treatment of mental illness has progressed tremendously, but it is never going to be able to help 100% of those treated.

Just throwing it out there. There's easier ways to off yourself, and when people die jerking it they always say it was suicide......

I personally knew 3 people from my HS days that took their own life. One killed himself because he didn't get a football scholarship. He killed himself before graduation. Its very sad whenever a person gets that low that he or she feels the need to end it all.

Linkin Park isnt Linkin Park without Chester.

Might as well call them Fort Minor now.

This really sucks. Linkin Park seems like the kind of band that would sound like absolute shite in concert, but they're actually one of the best sounding live bands I've ever heard. Seriously, check them out on youtube

Overdose does not equal suicide.

Nor does auto-erotic asphyxiation for that matter.
