Light color vehicle exterior, why do most choose dark interior?

Searching new cars on lots, most (all) dealers opt for charcoal or dark interiors with silver exteriors. The only exception is white exterior, tan interior...but my wife's already had that combination. Silver with tan is just non-existent...why is that?

Anyone here with silver/light and hate it?

Had a silver ext and tan int and hated it. This was on a 2017 sierra so they're out there.

Now I have a silver ext and black int in same trucks and love it. Think it looks much cleaner

Usually limited by mfr choice/pairing. Don't think you can mix n match int & ext at will.

Down vote for no pictures of your wife.

Was there something else you needed?

Yea, well we special ordered it. I let my wife pick it out since it's her vehicle...but I'm wondering why there aren't any on lots (just looking for pictures).

She really wanted the blonde interior.

From the inside or out? Is it just something that's off a bit?

From what vantage point? You'd have to be within steps of the vehicle to notice the interior color.

All vantage points. Silver and tan is a horrible combo, but it's not surprising that you'd like it

Not if you are not a slob.

I had a silver m35 with tan interior and it looked nice and I kept it clean.

I have an a6 now silver with black interior and it is hot and always looks dirty despite regular cleaning.

It's been my experience that light colored cars and interiors always look cleaner with the same level of upkeep.
