Wife (no pics, perfect boobs, use your imagination) is dead set on a 2021 Lexus GX. It drives great, has all the tech. My only problem is the grill looks stupid and downright hideous.
Any ideas on similar vehicles worth looking at? TIA

Landcruiser or GTFO. Lexus version of Landcruiser acceptable.

Doesn't sound like you have a say, so just buy it.

If you can afford it, just buy the Lexus vehicle already.
Mercy son.
It’s a Lexus, it’ll be fine.

I guess I'm in the minority, I love the new grill.
Interior is 2005-ish though. My concern would be that they are due for a redesign and if that's 2022 the 2021 is going to be extremely outdated in one year. But that may not matter to you and they're great vehicles, several in my family.

Both of those should be a solid return on investment if they stay together

The GX is somewhat of a dinosaur as it hasn't had a full redo since 2010, but this is the Toyota/Lexus way and is part of the reason they provide essentially the most durable and dependable vehicles on the road. If you plan to keep the SUV outside the warranty period then this is a stellar choice.
We have a 2017 but neither of us likes to drive an SUV daily so it is a third vehicle and we will likely keep it for 10 years.

It’s a dinosaur of a vehicle, but it’s great. I have a 17 and it’s my favorite daily driver. Solid off-road abilities, bullet proof everything. Tech is outdated but it’s a Toyota.

I’ve heard that 2022 is the redesign year for the GX as well. Interior tech is a bit dated compared to the rest of their lineup.
Or wait for the 2022 LQ.

I keep hearing this but unfortunately doubt it since they just redid I the grill and headlights. I unfortunately think we’re 4-5 years away from a full refresh with new power train, etc. When they do I’ll be upgrading to a new one as long as they don’t screw it up.

Get her a restored 1977 F-250 short wheelbase 4x4 with a 351 c.i. V-8. If she’s worth keeping, she’ll learn to love it.
