FarmLinks, Kiva, Grand National (both), and Capitol Hill (Judge).

FarmLinks is easily my favorite of those.

These two were incredible. Definitely worth the trip despite being in the middle of nowhere, white trash Florida.

Pano shot I took from the tee on #1 of the Blue course...

Heard incredible reviews. They are building a third course out there by Gil Hanse.

He's coming to do a master redesign plan at Denver CC. I've been on an architecture kick lately. Gonna try and make the meetings when he comes this summer. Wouldn't mind getting on an architecture crew.

Golf course architecture would be big time.

When I was there all the brass were in town voting on the addition of a 3rd course. The pro said that one of the options was going all in for a course that would put them in the rotation for the big time USGA events. Not sure if the Gil Hanse design is that option or not. Thier problem with attracting events will be the lack of hotels/infrastructure in the area.

ETA - I think the Red course could host the Open and Amateur, but what do I know.

Met an architect in Chattanooga that designed a 9 hole course I was playing. Chatted with him about one of his greens for awhile. Getting my opinion. He's worked with Gil on a few projects. So I'm gonna get in touch with him and ask for some tips on how to get in the architect game.

They'd have to build a mini town to get an Open there it sounds like. Everywhere I've read says middle of nowhere Florida including your post.
