Let’s talk about these names. I’m a teacher and can reassure all of you that every one of these kids will have their extremely unique and creative, culturally significant names reduced to a two syllable moniker like DD, JR or KD.
It’s only an issue on the first day of school.
ETA: A wise man once said “stick to Kings and queens of England. There’ll never be a president Katniss”.

You've got a point there. All the temps that come in at work with these unique names all say "just call me Deedee" or Shae, or Yaz.....etc.

My daughter's name is Eve. My son's name will be Luke. Pretty simple and I like biblical names.

There really should be a naming board.
For the good of the children, protect them from a future of job applications being thrown in the garbage because their idiot parents thought naming them Kang Emperor D’Umbrayrious or Jaxxylynne Whyvonne sounded cute.
I’m sorry Breighxton, no amount of travel ball is gonna get you hired.
And Shonda’N’qyia...you won’t even get a call back from wal-Mart.
And it isn’t your fault. I don’t believe children should suffer for the sins of their forebears. So we need a naming commission.
Educated people who can look, and send back Germainiun Queefara with a big fat REJECTED stamp.
You’re Steven James now. You’ll thank us in 18 years.
