So the question is whether this is a causation or correlation issue.

You think his suspicious death was orchestrated by psychiatrists? Or is it possible big pharma did not want that info spread?

People who kill a bunch of people are crazy and have been treated at some point for being crazy. Shocking revelation right there.

logic is really difficult for some people. I know a conspiracy guy - listening to his takes on stuff like this fascinates me for some reason. I always tell him that there is always a nugget (might be a tiny one) at the center of every wild conspiracy theory. Some people just lack the ability to shut down the runaway thought train.

they weren't shooting schools up before they got on the drugs. they shot up schools after getting on the drugs. many are advocating for more counseling before drugs.

A combination of both. We are quick to prescribe (and often over-prescribe) a drug as an easy fix. We don't have the time nor the resources to actually help people work through a problem. So we dose them, send them on their way, and we hope for the best.

It is true that it's not uncommon for someone to start taking these drugs and commit suicide - they theorize it's bc they lacked the motivation and energy to it before. That has been an observed phenomena for decades. Could it cause someone to go into a murderous rampage? I guess it's possible, but these people were already completely screwed up in their heads. Maybe they were about to snap and that's the reason they were taken a shrink - maybe they were going to snap anyway. They probably all should have been locked up in psych wards.

I have one suggestion.

Look into history of school shootings in the US. school is real world meet at sonic. I looked it up this morning. They didn’t have these drugs and there’s always been very violent acts at school or related functions. Quite interesting actually to read teachers killing students. Students killing teacher.

Our country does not do well with correlation versus causation.

This gets amplified hugely with “common sense” and “patterns” shared on social media.

There are approximated to be 37,000,000 Americans on SSRIs. To say there's a direct link between SSRIs and violent behavior is a ridiculous stretch.
