What stops the NWS from tornado warning the whole line in the area?

You can see similar little spin ups on every frame along the boundary.

They just try not to. Sometimes they will, especially headed into a highly populated area or at rush hour. It also really depends on the WFO. Some are more willing to do it than others.

Well, it is bright as hell for me this morning, baw.

I’ve got mostly cloudy but you can tell it’s not very thick, at the risk of sounding dumb the sun is penetrating the clouds a good bit and heating up the atmosphere all nice and good like

remember last week when Jackson, Miss. was warning everything on the line and then it got to Alabama and Birmingham was like "frick all that" and decided against warning whole segments of the line?

Son of a bitch. My wife works in one of the warned areas. I just got a call that showed to be from that town. I got nervous and it was Heather calling about my fricking car’s warranty.

Just break in and do it yourself.

Nasty looking along I20.

Not that you could tell since the SPC is so bad at having images shareable.

The rotation near Edgefield is of the most concern right now. It looks the best on radar and doesn't look to be winding down at the moment. I wouldn't trust it and would be taking shelter.
