Wow, what a waste of valuable property.
shite hole of epic proportions.... it’s ahame that area isn’t the premier living quarters for LSU students. ... instead it’s section 8 housing.

Been that way for long time though, be nice if someone would buy the entire area,
Bulldoze and start over.

Got my phone taken walking home one night. I'm assuming he needed to call his PhD adviser really badly at 2 am

You got a couple dozen mill to buy out the slum lords? I’m pretty sure a good amount of them are owned by LSU faculty

Some how I don't think the BR mayor is going to go for that.

It’s an absolute disgrace what that area is. No reason that area shouldn’t be a decent place for students to live

For someone who’s never been there, put up some pics to help with our judgement?

We could stop paying people to breed for starters.

It's a great location. I wish a developer would buy all of it and tear them all down. Tiger Plaza used to be decent though. Not sure if that's still the case. I lived in those shitty red four plexes next to it.

It's privately owned. She couldn't stop someone from buying all of the properties

Serious question. What happened that it went from being student housing to being section 8 housing?

when they discovered that the government could pay more than students could and never have to be chased down for it

Someone mentioned something about section 8 housing in or nearby. Good luck with that.

She could make it a living hell, trying to get permits and any zoning done. Don't under estimate the useless with power, they know how to abuse it.
