A lot of bocage lake haters in this thread. I don’t see how you can hate from outside of the club. you can’t even get in

Center of town close to all essentials, gated. Bunch of old people so quiet, nice neighbors

Does he still own the house in Willow Grove?

No lot is worth that.
I can buy a lot on the water a stones throw away from lake pontchartrain for $100k and this dude wants 1.29mil for a culdesac?

Even more astounding is the fact that it’s actually a < 1 acre lot

Locals, help me understand the appeal of this lot. The neighborhood looks like it has nice homes but looks otherwise unremarkable. $1.29MM for just the dirt seems insane.
Location. Right in the middle of town so close to everything and a gated community. 1.29M still seems like too much to me but in this market who knows what is too much.

People in this city are fricking retarded and some have more money than sense.
That's the truth.
Go price lake lots on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota and you will see the same.

No,he sold the Willow Grove house a few years ago

By “quiet” you must not be referring to the noise from the 10/12 split about 300 yards away. No thanks.

You don’t hear it in the house, but you can try to make that a problem. Only if outside and some douche pins it on a crotch rocket

He can just build there when BK retires next year.

I used to fake the same excuse when I lived there.

Is this expensive for BR these days? I must really love in a different world these days. This sounds cheap.

Then factor in that it's in Baton Rouge Louisiana.

A lot directly on Lake Minnetonka is way more desirable than a random lot in the middle of Baton Rouge.

It is a generic fancy neighborhood, but it's also centrally located and close to other fancy neighborhoods. New(er)-builds of that scale in the middle of town are otherwise nonexistent.

The discrimination against brunettes has got to stop.
