I couldn't understand anything and didn't care for the music, but the production design was off the charts for a halftime show.

Didn’t watch it for political reasons that existed before the show itself. I honestly expected him to put on a standard halftime performance with no political stunts.
I don’t think anybody was worried about what he was going to do in the halftime show. Folks just didn’t like how he outwardly hated half the country and took an outward divisive unpopular political stance.
