I have no problem giving impoverished teenagers tampons.

Do you require these after you leave home?

I brushed my teeth after lunch in kindergarten

I needed deodorant after gym in high school.

Following the logic of your question, do you need more tampons than the ones you use at home?

ETA Awful lot of downvotes with zero responses. Interdasting

What about all the other stuff?

When I worked at a PLA school we had a family resource office that kept deodorant (especially working with all boys), small bottles of shampoo/conditioner, etc. The school was in an area with a high poverty rate. So no, I wouldn't have an issue with that being provided either.

You're the one that equated toilet paper with tampons

You can’t ask for a worse attempt at an apples to apples comparison.

Just knowing you feel this way solidifies my argument.

Because it's taking care of a bodily function that at least half of the population experiences that is managed in the bathroom.

So yeah, I'm equating it to toilet paper. Why do you want girls running around with no pads or tampons? Pretty gross.

I don't recall a lot of girls missing a lot when I was in high school.

Maybe I just didn't notice.

Who said that? I certainly didn't.

I will say there is no fricking way 40% of girls can't afford tampons though. I'm not a huge fan of frivolous spending.

How? If anything, stopping a bleed while at school would seem better served by a trip to the nurse's office.

I mean I guess. Parents aren’t responsible enough to pay for necessities for their kids.

I am willing to bet they all have nice new iPhones and shoes though

Again, this is no different.

horse shite. Everyone uses toilet paper. not so on monkey gauze. Pay for your own shite. I'm tired of subsidizing everyone else. Even the girls on their periods.

and again, I'm glad our legislators are tackling the tough issues.

You're complaining about sanitary products for girl's periods being provided. You're advocating for them to not have access to those products and that's pretty unsanitary for everybody. Again, gross.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. There's a large population of people who aren't poor enough to receive SNAP and the like, but are living paycheck to paycheck at best. It wouldn't shock me if tampons and pads are some of the things that they struggle to afford when they're trying to put food on the table.

How about condoms and birth control while they are at it. If you can't afford tampons you can't afford a baby

They don't have tampons, but you can bet your sweet arse they have a smartphone.
