That "rule" would eliminate about half of what I eat. frick that. Think of all the starving children in Africa.

I'm usually pretty careless with this sort of thing, but I'd probably chunk it.

There's a good chance that it will make you sick. That is long past the time that bacteria starts to grow on food left out. I'd probably eat it anyway though if it were me.
This is pretty much us(guys), perfectly explained.

Smoked, probably fine... sure some bacteria is on it, but people ate smoked meat for a few years before Ben Franklin invented the Yeti.

Get back to us in 5 to 7 days. That's the incubation period for most pathogenic bacteria once it's in your intestine.

Damn y'all are pussies. Microwave or stove top kills everything. If nothing is visibly growing on it, stop being a girl. I haven't been to a Dr. for anything other than an annual check-up since 2005. It's not going to kill you.

If left for 12-15 hours, basically overnight, I''d eat it. I did that with RB&R and once with Sausage and chicken gumbo. No stomach issues.

Update? How much time has passed since you ate this stuff? The "is this still good" question arises fairly frequently in my house. I want the research details and timeline.
