That car is on my short list for "ugliest ever." Other than the Monte Carlo, that family of GM cars (G bodies?) was kind of boring and middling, but the "down-on-his-luck pimp" design ethos of the Monte Carlo is just embarrassing.
I really don't understand the appeal of any of those cars, and yet I still see them driving around.
FWIW I think the original (2004+) BMW 1 series suffered from the same design problem. It's a Mini-Me version of a successful design, and it looks profoundly ridiculous.

My French ancestors left Saint Domingue in the 1830’s and settled in New Orleans. I have great memories growing up there, now I live elsewhere and don’t care if I ever see that place again. They can have it.
