Leather and it has nothing to do with money.

I am extremely lazy and dont like spending a lot of time maintaining my car.

I like easy to clean seats, and fabrics can retain odors/stains over a period of time.

I have overhead coverage in most of my parking spaces and can usually avoid leaving my car out of direct sunlight during the summer.

Of course leather but if you get after market leather instead of factory it looks and holds up longer. Take it to a detail shop that installs leather skins and they can do it for the same price as the dealer or less. The quality is drastic.

Leather in my wife's, fabric in mine. But mine is an old Jeep. I may spring for neoprene covers one day.

For looks and ease of cleaning, leather is much better. However, they break down and crack over time, and are uncomfortable when the car has been sitting in extreme temperatures.

Cloth. Leather is hot as hell in summer and very cold in winter. We have more summer than winter and I don't enjoy having the backs of my thighs burned.

Crushed velvet - I hear it's making a comeback.

Well, if it isn't, it should. Those crushed velvet seats that looked like pillow-top mattresses were awesome.

Cloth. I've got enough leather to clean and condition as it is...

Leather for sure. I have black vinyl in one of my cars and in August, it's like sitting in an oven for the first few minutes.
