What is the best way to learn a new language? Going to Italy in July and want to know at least some of the language

They understand you if you speak English with an Italian accent. At least it worked for me.

Unless you’re going to an obscure town in the country, English is really all you’ll need. Just learn some key phrases and you’ll be fine. I thought the same thing before my first trip there

Met a guy in a bar in Brussels that had learned 8 languages by watching tv with the closed captioning on. Joker could speak English better than most Americans

Is say the best intro would be duolingo, but if you truly want to get a better understanding, there a ton of grammar and other language articles I can point you towards.
