Lazy Employees that won’t put in 40hrs a week

I’ve recently been promoted to VP in my company. I’m trying to get this one group to start actually producing a profit for us. They’ve been consistently dragging the rest of the company down due to their lack of work ethic.

I believe the group is mirroring the work ethic of their leader. I’ve been the boss of this leader and this shite head barely shows up for work. Due to the groups lack of productivity, I call him routinely around 4:30 to get daily updates and he’s always got some bull shite excuse.

The shite head came in after 9 the other day. I got fed up so I called him into my office. His excuse was he had trouble sleeping the night before. Can you believe this bitch?

Should I fire this lazy bastard now or should I just keep documenting against him and fire him later?

Fire them now. There is always some pimple-faced teenager looking for a job as a fry cook that can replace him.

Wow. This is really crazy but there is some person posting here who seems to have the other side of this story. Really odd.

I think the two of you should get together and see if you can work things out.

if not, maybe go sit down and read some books on humor or watch a funny movie or two because both of you are unfailingly bland.
