do other cities with new mayor's coming into office usually oust the current police chief?

I know it's the norm for the new mayor to pick it's own chief...

Broome, Gravy, Marcelle, etc. all want a BR that "looks more like them." They want a predominately black police force overseen by a black police chief, and a metro council that is majority black to more accurately reflect the racial demographic of BR (even though EBR Parish is still slightly majority white). The problem is, if they get the "chocolate BR" they want so sadly, who is going to pay for city services and capital improvement projects? It sure as hell won't be the folks in NBR. As I've said before, for someone who ran for office on a platform of unity and inclusion, Broome sure seems hell-bent on alienating the white voters in EBR Parish.

Dabadie has the mayor by the balls. She can't fire him and he isn't leaving unless the city comes up with a big $$$.

He moved to my neighborhood (St. George Area) just before Halloween. Nice people.

If Broome is willing to waste hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars just to get rid of Dabadie without cause, that should tell you all you need to know about her intentions for BR.

How did you get this...
quote:

Hey jackass, not all Democrats are black

From this...
quote:

You just have to love a Democrat. If there is a law we don't like we will just change the law.

There is no mention of race, only calling out registered democrats who are public servants.

quote:

Sharon Weston Broome is the current Mayor-President of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is a member of the Democratic Party.

quote:

Edward Clark James, II, also known as Ted James (born June 1981),[1] is an attorney from his native Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who is a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 101 in East Baton Rouge Parish. He was first elected in 2011

The basic message to upper middle class white people is "Shut up, give us your money, we're in control now. When we need more money, we'll let you know."

The amount of balls it takes to castigate people for questioning or criticizing where their tax money is going is unreal.

nice! I was at that game, but i was too lazy to go early so i was up near the rafters. the next year one of our genius classmates got law students prime seats btw regular students and paying fans, so we had a sliver of good seats all the way down to the front. the genius is now in federal prison, but he was great in law school.

Congrats! In 10 years BR will be Jackson MS Southwest

This seems to be the goal of democrats everywhere. Turn every city into ghetto, then blame white people for making it a ghetto, then eventually when white hipsters and gays return call them privileged gentrifiers for displacing the residents of said ghetto.

Honest question...

has there ever been a single situation in your lifetime where you actually sided with the white person over the black person?

Why is it those that profess racism so much, are the ones who value skin color as the #1 determining factor in all situations?

Nothing at all. If anything, Broome's new "racially sensitive" police chief will just be a puppet to push her hug-a-thug policy on the BRPD. Crime will probably increase.

Crime WILL increase; that's inevitable.
