Well the models are still flip flopping and this morning we have the Canadian going into the AL/FL area, the ICON going into SWLA, the gfs going into Texas south of Galveston, and the EURO going into south central/SWLA.
The hurricane models have it going into AL/MS and into Beaumont.
The official forecast from the NHC has it going over Terrebonne Parish and on northward to Alexandria.

Yes, we had threads on Katrina, as well as a main Katrina thread. Not like today, but we had them.
They were, and especially the main thread, quite valuable to some people. I know for a fact that both New Orleans and LA state agencies were following the thread for the firsthand accounts people were describing.

and how does Marco play into the environment being so close with the hurricane trailing it?
Marco will create a weakness for Laura to sort of follow into but the the ridge is expected to whip her around the western edge, turning more northward. The big question is WHEN does that occur? It depends on how strong the ridge builds westward and how far west the ridge itself moves.

Damn...yeah it’s been awhile. I just revisited some info on Katrina.

I can reasonably deduce that “PIIHB” is the reason there are still state sodomy laws.

I had no idea there was a southernwx.com! Looks good, joining now.
Is it the same people that have americanwx.com? I hope not they're douchebags.

Take a look at San Juan radar this AM.. I'm no expert and that might be a mid level rotation, or it could be a center reformation to the south with the thunderstorms passing south of PR moving to the west.
If so, model change time again.

Has anyone done the triangle math analysis on these guys yet?

Laura ain't Katrina and it isn't coming into where another storm JUST pulled a lot of heat out of the water. That is what storms do.

Instead of getting your panties in a wad, maybe you ought to read everything on NHC's website about it, especially the discussions. I thing that you lost your vagina hat somewhere on Plank Rd.

......and yet you continue to perpetuate your douchebaggery.
Do better. Be better.

Not sure if storm pulls heat out as much as it dumps cooler water (rain) into the water.

06z Euro tracks Marco into Terrebonne Parish before sliding it westward. Laura feels the ridge weakness and rolls off of Cuba intact. Ends up near the SELA coast by the last frame.
Models still have no idea what will happen
