TD13 has the winds up at flight level

the map being put out by the HH shows some yellow wind barbs... representing 45-50 kt (52-58 mph) winds at flight level on the northern side of the storm

When we get Marco and I know it's not the next letter but with the 2nd storm wish it could have been Polo. Would make sense for sure since they gonna be in close proxmity to each other.

So I live in SWLA

This is where I’m at....around 2pm, I was thinking about talking to my wife about booking a hotel room a little farther north. (Anything above 90 mph, we’re going to leave). Just to have it. Just in case.

Now, after the 4pm update, frick it. Going to hit East of here and we will get sunshine.

Between the flip flopping and the faux panic already on Facebook....one day in...

Hurricane Hunters in TD13 right now found something that resembled a center of circulation

b/c they dropped a dropsonde and said it was in the "eye"

something the crew that checked out TD14 didn't mark

Then beyond that, the future of 97L will play a role in what happens to 98L. If 97L is able to develop and move into the Gulf then the upper level outflow from 97L will impact the downstream environment and could have negative impacts on 98L. As of right now, it appears that 98L is the system that poses the greatest risk to the Gulf (has been that way all along) but there are a number of scenarios that don't really do much with 98L or 97L.

A picture that is starting to come into focus this evening is that we might need 14 to be a bit slower and stronger or 13 might be able to rampage through the Gulf.

Models for TD 13 are trending westward. This will allow more time over gulf waters. Not good for Miss/LA if this trend continues

Plenty of energy there, too. Water is plenty hot enough, an I'm not sold on it struggling too badly with shear.
