You seem to spend a lot of your life bitching about office and school closures. Relax.

So EURO now takes it near the state line and predicts 937mb? That's technically Cat 4 classifications. Good Lord.

At what point is Southeastern Louisiana in the clear? Tomorrow morning if this path continues overnight?

In the clear as far as what?

At this point no way landfall is east of abbeville or so and that is really stretching it

So the Euro bucks it’s own trend west AND bottoms Laura out as strong as it ever has, because, why not?

What is your definition "in the clear?"

Look at the legend on the lower right-hand side of the graphic under "Forecast Positions."

"S 39-73 mph H 74-110 mph M > 110 mph"

"M" = Major hurricane.

Random question, what is the significance of 58mph winds? Looking at the NHC graphics it shows >39mph, >58mph & >74mph. I get 39 & 74, but what's 58?

Never mind. Just googled it.

This is bad. The tropical storm force winds will extend over most of Louisiana.

Y’all stay safe out there.
