SO LC gets dumped on with rain from Marco, then Laura comes in and wipes us out, great .

perhaps not true

go watch Levi's video on Tropical Tidbits

the LLC of Marco may be completely decoupled from the mid-level circulation by that time... and thus the LLC will be completely dry and a little breezy while the mid-level circulation and all the rain would be in SELA, Mississippi, & Alabama

That is not entergy’s policy. They are out and working as long as winds are below TS level

Road out Katrina in Waveland
I rode out Katrina in Manila, Philippines.

I watched the levee breaking apart on live TV that night in my hotel room...12 hour time zone difference from Louisiana.

Not an expert but from watching Levi and a few other experts I’m guessing high 2 or low 3. But i wouldn’t be surprised if something unexpected happens and it’s a low 2. Louisiana always has storms that are predicted to be pretty Major but then in the morning you wake up and they’re like some dry air arrived early and infiltrated the Storm. It’s weird. I recall something like that happening 3 times. Going to bed expecting a 3 waking up to some minor wind

Not sure where everyone is getting this rain concern from Marco. Through Wednesday at 6 pm this is the accumulated rainfall from the GFS.

The question is whether or not they will have trucks in the path of Laura who is only a day or two behind.

This going to be a shite pile of rain for everyone off to right of the center. BR and Lafayette to lake Charles could be getting absolutely soaked in the week

Do you people actually look at the models?
Anywhere west of the basin isn’t getting a ton of rain from Marco

No, it was a much higher percentage than you think. A lot of them brought their entitled attitudes with them. Of course, your response automatically signals you wouldn’t understand.

The Katrina pissing contest was an unintentional consequence of my question. Sorry.

Rode out some Cat 1 that went through AL/FL line a few year back in a beach house. Was pretty fun - surf was high - wind was moving pretty good. Never lost satellite for college football. Lots of beer. Only problem is they shutdown FLoraBama - really wanted to ride a storm out there.
