I doubt it. GFS dissipates Marco at the coast.

But it looks like it’s moving straight north and the clouds around New Orleans look like they are headed NE.

That's the upper level flow you see pushing NE and what's bringing the shear.

Small circulation means the globals aren't picking it up as it wanes on approach.

Watch tomorrow be a nice breezy day in Baton Rouge with just a few rain showers. It’s already happened once this season, it was so forgetful that I don’t remember the name and I think it was even a hurricane!

Oh, and the GFS initialized too far north so not sure what to make of that run. Perhaps landfall is accurate but it was weaker because it rode Cuba the entire length and with a more southerly initialization it could skim the southern coast and even possibly stay over water in the Caribbean. So I definitely don’t buy the strength of that GFS run and it’s possible landfall could be off as well.
