Chris Cozart is damn good. Seriously. That dude is hardly ever wrong on this type of stuff. He nailed the 2016 flood in that area days in advance and was one of the first ones to accurately predict it when it would end.
He was the only meteorologists that was VERY forceful in his thoughts that Barry was nothing to worry about in the Acadians area. Everyone else was fearcasting

Marco turning up the gulf and colder waters won’t impact Laura.
Might be a couple degrees cooler. Not enough to matter

Tell that to people in Iberia and St Mary out of power for 3-4 days

None of the surrounding parishes claim her, she is strictly for EBR Parish culture

Her voters don't exactly post here

People don’t understand that just because they aren’t affected it doesn’t mean a neighborhood next to them gets fricked.

Yeah, I realize that. I'd heard her mentioned many times on here but this was the first time that I actually saw her or heard her speak.
After that, I'm like...scream about Carolyn Goodman all that you want but I'll take her over that ANY day.

No way she said that on national tv

It's really sad what the city I grew up in has become. If these storms do some real damage it's going to show her at her finest.

Literally, no...but she DID say "Red Stick ready" at least 3 times.

Bc it’s not forecast to upwell enough water to matter while it’s forecast to clear out all shear and dry air in the gulf.

Power outages aren’t life threatening and any thunderstorm can do that

She did.

In the early 2000's there was 2 storms that came through about a week apart and the second storm collapsed, it is thought that the first storm churned the water pulling cold water up and killing the second hurricane.
