Was really looking forward to seeing a game or 2

Don’t think there’s anyway I’m driving to BR for a game

Saints don’t really want to play in BR either. Curious to see how they play this

I have no problems with Saints having games in Baton Rouge. That's a good solution for right now.

How is it a solution at all? If we are worried about gatherings, let’s be worried about gatherings.

Just have Drew Brees apologize to Latoya and be done with it.

You think someone can explain this to her? There are X amount of die hard Saints fans in NOLA. Those fans would love to be able to go to the Dome, even under limited capacity. So now she is saying the Saints playing in BR is a good solution for now. So those X number of die hard Saints fans in NOLA are now going to drive to BR to go see the Saints play amongst 25K other fans, then come back home to NOLA. So what really did she solve health-wise? Nothing.

You mean same weekend. And yes, those 2 weekends the field could be fine for games in consecutive days.

Didn’t know they could turn the field over that fast for the Saints. If so, it should be a good time. 25% of Tiger Stadium’s total seat count is a lot more than what NOLA will let into the dome.

I mean, it’s catastrophically stupid from New Orleans’ standpoint....but it probably works for a lot of fans.

Furthermore, the Saints and Cardinals have played with a limited capacity under the roof. In NO instances have there been any reporting of COVID clusters or outbreaks in these situations OR any situations in stadiums with fans present

Easily. And they will have to add hash marks closer to the middle of the field. NFL hash marks are closer in than college. So you will see 4 sets of hash marks on each yard line. And as far as field durability, it is brand new and in excellent shape.

She’s getting put in her place.

I said earlier itt, the Saints are not going to just let her bully them. They play dirty.

Slow down. Halfway there? I wouldn't even call it 15%. Our field is brand new and in excellent shape. Our defense is brand new and in horrible shape.

Not to mention, they've only played one meaningful game on that field, and that was a track meet not a slug it out running game.

There is a TON of ammunition that she cannot dodge in any re election campaign. Some energetic democrat will step up and beat her. She entered office under a cloud of a possible indictment and amid scandal. She hasn't done ANYTHING to help herself.

I’m not so sure. Most democrats who might run against her, especially in a city like NOLA, would have a hard time attacking her on issues like the lockdown (which they most likely agree with), tax evasion and corruption (again, those who live in glass houses can’t throw stones), or racial pandering. These are cores of the Democrat party. How to you attack her without coming off too conservative for the super liberal voter base?
