Damn. She’s brave and just sentenced herself to life in the gulags.

A woman burst onto Russia’s main live evening newscast today with a sign that says:
“Stop the war
Don’t believe propaganda
They’re lying to you”
And chanting: “Stop the war! No to war!”
Damn. She’s brave and just sentenced herself to life in the gulags.

im not sure im following, can you elaborate?
he means we can essentially crush the russians for decades to come without having to fire a shot. India going off and buying arms and oil from them complicates that and throws russia a lifeline.
we should use all of the soft power we have to make india understand it is not in their best interest to take sides against the family.

If only we had our own O&G to sell them in its place...

We shouldn’t give Pakistan a cent, ever.

frick that. They hid Bin Laden from us. Honestly we should have cut off trade with them for that and told them when the next earthquake hits they're on there own.
There is some alternate timeline where Trump was the one who had Osama assassinated and I would have loved to hear it. Just him ripping into Pakistan instead of Obama lying and saying they are our allies. Barrack Obama was once asked what keeps him up at night, and he said it was Pakistan. Why Pakistan? Because they're a theocracy that has nukes.

If China sides with Russia, then India won't. They hate the Chinese and know what they're up to.

It should be a geopolitical goal of this and future administrations to get closer to India imo.

Aboot a year ago, Chinese and Indian Baws were meeting at the border for fist fights. The media made a big deal of it but nothing ever came of it.
I am waiting for Russia to run out of gas and food, then get called back home, saying it is over. Then, The Ukraine says "Not so fast, Bawskis. Leave the tanks, AA's, APC's, and rocket launchers right there. You are going home on the shoe-leather express."

absolutely and i agree with oml we should cut off all ties to pakistan. frick those cock suckers, they are not our friend.
with russia down and out, we have one geopolitical rival left and being great friends with india and getting japan to build their navy back to being bad arse puts in a position to slowly cut china off and isolate them.
the soft spot for china we have had since pre-wwII has got to go. frick them.

Yes. It should be a major priority since I don't think it will be too difficult to convince them. They will be the most populated country within the next two decades and are a nuclear power. We ignore that country far too much.
Posted on 3/14/22 at 3:07 pm to OMLandshark
and i dont understand why, they hate our biggest rival.
just liek we should allow japan to rearm, both of them are chinas natural check mate. if anything we should be trying to grow closer to both of those countries.

What if the real propaganda is that protesting a war in Russia means life in prison?

Russia deployed 75% of its permanent readiness ground forces to Ukraine, so this would mean it has lost ~6-7% of its total. Keep in mind that much of these losses have been sustained by Russia's elite forces: VDV, spetsnaz, 1st Tank Army, etc. That will take time to reconstitute.

Russia now has 100 percent of the forces it assembled prior to invading committed to the fight. It has under 90 percent of those forces available to them, after taking losses, senior U.S. defense official says.

India is skeptical of the west (thanks UK) and consistently maintains a neutral position on most things.
As one of (may the?) largest democracies on earth, tighter relations with India make sense… but it’s a two way street.

But India doesn't have much of a choice. They know exactly what China is unlike most naive idiots around the world. China looks at them as a bunch of filthy degenerates not worthy to be a world power mentioned in the same sentence.

Well they could be getting on a train to a Siberian gulag. Or they could be brought to jail to await trial. Both are possible, the second more so.
