thats 72000 per month ....
average number of people killed in ukraine is about 30,000.
the average death rate in russia is about 130-150,000 per month (1.8 million in 2024) due to nature.
so thats about 160-180,000 dead
in 2023 russia lost over 130000 people (not counting people in ukraine being forced to get russian passports ). also many of the "citizens " are people in CIS countries that get dual citizenship to work in russia and are not really russians.
thats another 10-20K a month in losses so russia is losing at least 180 and up to 200k a month.....
while only producing 72K a month (and dropping)
russia is doomed.

France sends surveillance ship to monitor Russian shadow tankers in the Baltic
Arresting Russian shadow fleet tankers in the Baltic would take balls, but would be legal and would put enormous pressure - financial, diplomatic and personal - on Putin. The issue of shadow tankers in the Baltic and the European's response in support of Ukraine has the greatest potential to cripple Russia's war effort. And all the NATO countries have to do is enforce the laws already established.
It is finally clear to anyone (outside of the White House) that meeting any move of Putin's with immediate responsive escalation is the only correct way to handle him. If the Europeans want to truly bring this war to an end as soon as possible, this is the golden opportunity to do it. Russia has no greater vulnerability.
