Honestly as soon as I posted that, I remembered a quote from LOST and made me feel retarded as Ben and Sawyer were going at it. YouTube

On an entirely unrelated note, but not really, I always get irrationally angry when the topic of Lost comes up.

The real meaning of that damn show has to do with all the time you wasted watching. It is just......lost.

All I can picture is the best, most wasteful and probably most expensive deer hunt ever.

…Yet, which is why I also corrected Owlie’s post below us. It still can be prevented, we just have to tread carefully.

I try to be. While I carefully understand communism and authoritarianism, there is much I can learn from others in which I am woefully ignorant.

My point is with extreme genocidal authoritarians is people here assume they can be reasoned with. The only thing they understand is power.

I’m honestly a member of Toastmasters so obviously that didn’t work.

Remember when you didnt realize someone was calling you retarded because you hadnt read Of Mice and Men.

The next best part was when OML said he was "more of a film buff than literature" without realizing that the film adaptation of Of Mice and Men was incredibly popular and won a shitload of awards

You can't expect everyone to remember a book written by Rob Reinbeck and featuring John Steinovich was a great film though.

There are a lot of fricking films as there are books. “Of Mice and Men” as a film is not as renowned as it is a book. While I have yet to read “Of Mice and Men” (that will be corrected within the month) I’m holding this basically pamphlet of a book in my hands at 107 pages as I type this.

Sorry, there are lots of old movies I haven’t seen, but I personally own around 600 films. Seen probably about 85% of them, but there are still some I know that are classics that should be preserved that I haven’t gotten around to. And also just looked into my guide that I help use by my film purchases of “1001 Greatest Movies Ever Made” and nope, “Of Mice and Men” is not mentioned in it.

Would a non-film buff own 600 films? I don’t know everything, but obviously I’ve put my money where my mouth is.

Kind of odd you own 90 films you've never seen though. Eject the Twilight Saga and pop in some Smokey and the Bandit once in a while.
