Vance needs to head on over to Africa and get some tips from Wagner on how to pull off a "mineral deal" heist.
He is talking to Russia and Ukraine this week, right?
Either one could help him out with advice in the heist department.

The EU may provide Ukraine with a €700 billion aid package
The European Union is preparing a massive aid package to fund military equipment for Ukraine. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock revealed the scale of this initiative, stating that the amount could reach around €700 billion.
"We are launching a major package, one that has never been seen on this scale before," Baerbock told Bloomberg on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
Baerbock emphasized that peace can only be achieved through strength:
"For this, Ukraine needs strong and long-term security guarantees, a strong NATO alliance, and progress in its EU accession negotiations. As Europeans, as Germans, we stand firmly by Ukraine—providing military, humanitarian, and financial support. Since the full-scale Russian invasion, we Europeans have supported Ukraine with more than €134 billion, and Germany alone has contributed nearly €44 billion."

General Bill told us so.
Ukraine should have him on their negotiating team or appoint him Sec. of Defense.

Russia, US conclude Ukraine peace talks in Saudi Arabia, Kremlin advisor says they were 'not bad'
by Kateryna Hodunova and The Kyiv Independent news desk February 18, 2025 2:41 PM
A member of Russia's delegation that met with U.S. officials in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 18 to discuss ending the war in Ukraine has said the talks were "not bad," but it was "hard to say" if the two sides' interests were converging.
Speaking to the pro-Kremlin Channel One Russia, Yuri Ushakov, an advisor to Russia's President Vladimir Putin, said it was a "very serious discussion of all the issues we wanted to touch upon."
"We have agreed to take account of each other's interests and develop bilateral relations, since both Moscow and Washington are interested in this," he added.
The participants of the meeting in Riyadh also decided to restore embassy staffing for further diplomatic missions.
"We're going to need to have vibrant diplomatic missions that are able to function normally in order to be able to continue these conduits," Rubio said.
Russia and the U.S. also held separate talks on economic cooperation, including on global energy prices, Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev told Reuters.

Russian losses near Pokrovsk surpass Soviet casualties in Afghanistan – military spox
Russian forces are suffering heavier losses near Pokrovsk than the Soviet Union did during its entire war in Afghanistan.
That is according to Major Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, Ukrinform reports citing ArmyInform.
Trehubov stated that Pokrovsk is critical for Russian plans to advance in southern Donetsk region. As a result, they have concentrated maximum efforts on this front.
"However, it is precisely near Pokrovsk that clear signs have begun to emerge that the Russians are starting to exhaust themselves. Capturing Pokrovsk is the main objective of this stage of the enemy's campaign," said Trehubov, adding that the Russians are trying to encircle the town from the west and break through from the east.
"Despite their significant advantage in manpower, the Russians have lost momentum. This is the very impulse that allows them to push forward. First of all, it is impossible to maintain such pressure continuously — they are also wearing out. Secondly, the Ukrainians have managed to build an effective defense based on the coordination of infantry and drones. The Russians have encountered resistance they did not expect," Trehubov explained.
Russian losses in manpower and equipment have reached extreme levels, the Spokesperson stressed.
"They are losing a record number of armored vehicles. They have even started losing multiple rocket launch systems (MRLS). This means they are being hit quite deeply. And their losses in manpower are also very high: 7,000 killed and total losses of 14-15,000. This is in one month, and this is only the Pokrovsk direction. Under Pokrovsk alone, the Russians bury more soldiers in Pokrovsk in a month than the USSR did in Afghanistan over several years," summarized Trehubov.
As reported, Russia has been forced to minimize the use of armored vehicles in the Pokrovsk sector because Ukrainian forces detect and destroy them as soon as they appear on the battlefield.

EU Plans Historic €700B Aid for Ukraine, German FM Says
Though details remain murky at present, the announcement could be interpreted as one of the most significant support for Ukraine since Russia’s 2022 invasion started.
by Kyiv Post | February 18, 2025, 2:37 pm
The EU is set to send Ukraine an unprecedented aid package of up to €700 billion ($732 billion), though details are murky at present.
The package would not be announced until after the Feb. 23 German elections, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock told Bloomberg on the sidelines of the Munich meeting, as reported by German outlet Berliner Zeitung.
“We will launch a large package that has never been seen on this scale before,” said Baerbock. “Similar to the euro or the [Coronavirus] crisis, there is now a financial package for security in Europe. That will come in the near future.”
For context, €700 billion surpasses all foreign aid to Ukraine combined since Russia’s 2022 invasion, of which close to $183 billion came from Washington as of September 2024, according to one of its auditing bodies.
The amount also surpasses US President Donald Trump’s proposed rare earth deal for Ukraine, which is believed to be around $500 billion to be used to repay Washington’s previous aid for Kyiv under the last US administration.

Zelenskyy: The problem is that US is saying things that appeal to Putin
VALENTYNA ROMANENKO — Tuesday, 18 February 2025, 15:15
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the United States is now trying to please Russian leader Vladimir Putin in an effort to achieve quick success, but a ceasefire is not a success, Zelenskyy stresses.
Source: Zelenskyy in an interview with German public broadcaster ARD, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine
Quote: "The problem is that the US is saying things that really appeal to Putin. I think that’s the whole point – because they want to please him. You know why? To meet face-to-face and achieve quick success. But what they want is just a ceasefire, and that is not success."
Details: Zelenskyy once again emphasised that Ukraine will not legally renounce its territories or sign any agreements "just for the sake of loud applause".

I hadn’t really thought about it and I don’t really care.
It’s possible especially if it’s something to do with oil and gas. That’s not something you’d think would come out of Silicon Valley, right?
So me being a really nice guy, I’d say he is to give him the benefit of doubt.
Now let me ask you, is JB a paid shill for Russia?
