You told the class last year you were working with the Ukrainians on technology even ‘Silicon Valley’ doesn’t know about.

What I said is that I was working with a company using Ukrainian developed technology. It is known as sharp pulse electric plasma. It was initially developed with the intent of using on hunter killer satellites of the USSR to disable US satellites. The physicist who developed it lives in the USA. A company had been formed to use it to stimulate old stripper wells and increase production substantially with two men, a wireline truck and 24 hrs of stimulation. Zero harm to casing or sand screen. They marketed it wrong and funding dried up a decade ago.

The technology is now developed to use it to extract rare earth minerals from fracturing water.

I am working with a semiretired former operations manager petroleum engineer to use this as a means to fund P&A of abandoned wells by stimulating them enough "squeeze" enough oil to pay for the P&A and cost the state zero dollars. Many of these wells were abandoned pre P&A regulations. He is assessing whether or not it is worthy building new devices which are about 5 feet long.

Now go fricking play you ignorant ditch digger.

This is what you said

A quick google shows this technology has been around for over 20 years.

So you just made up the part about Silicon Valley not having any of the Ukrainian technology.

What’s the point in lying? The thought someone would call you out not enter your brain

It is beyond Silicon Valley but you are too phucking stupid to understand.

Tell me about all the Green New Deal renewable energy plants built with the best computer simulations that Silicon Valley could conjure up. Not a single one worked to even be breakeven inspite the Fed and some state capital funding. They were merely payola for Silicon Valley funding of Obama's 2008 .

You remain a dumbass

Biden administration fails to use nearly US$4 bn in aid for Ukraine – Pentagon

Olha Hlushchenko — Saturday, 11 January 2025, 02:32

US President Joe Biden’s administration has not managed to use nearly US$4 billion of the aid package for Ukraine approved by Congress in April.

Source: Sabrina Singh, Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense, at a briefing, cited by Ukrinform

Details: The White House has not spent the entire amount of the aid package for Ukraine and will transfer nearly US$4 billion to the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump. This money will be available under the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA).

Quote from Singh: "So, it will be just under US$4 billion that will be left in the authority (PDA) that the next administration will get the opportunity to use for Ukraine."

Details: Singh was responding to journalists' questions about the amount of aid left for Ukraine after the US announced its most recent military aid package for Ukraine this week.

What's this about a Russian shadow fleet (piece of crap) tanker adrift near the German coast with 100,000 tons (over 700,000 barrels) of crude oil?

ISW Update Jan 10

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian forces struck a Russian ammunition and drone storage warehouse in Rostov Oblast on the night of January 9 to 10.

The Kremlin reiterated that it is ready to hold talks with US President-elect Donald Trump without any "preconditions" but noted that its negotiating position remains unchanged.

The United States, United Kingdom, and Japan announced new sanctions against Russia on January 10.

The EU recently transferred three billion euros (about $3.07 billion) to Ukraine, the first tranche of EU funding from the profits of frozen Russian assets.

Russian forces recently advanced in Kursk Oblast and near Kupyansk, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.

The BBC Russian Service reported on January 10 that a joint investigation conducted with Russian opposition outlet Medizona using open-source data has confirmed that at least 88,055 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since February 2022.

The Kremlin reiterated that it is ready to hold talks with US President-elect Donald Trump without any "preconditions" but noted that its negotiating position remains unchanged. Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded on January 10 to a Trump statement about arranging a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and stated that Putin is open to contact with international leaders and that "no conditions are required for this [contact]."[4] Peskov reiterated, however, that the Kremlin maintains its "repeatedly voiced" position on Ukraine that Putin explicitly defined in June 2024 and repeated in his December 19 Direct Line presentation.[5] Putin demanded in June 2024 that Ukraine replace Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his government under the guise of "denazification," demilitarize, and cede significant swaths of territory in eastern and southern Ukraine to Russia, including areas of Ukraine that Russia does not currently occupy -- all effectively amounting to Ukraine's full capitulation.[6] No negotiations will result in a meaningful or sustainable peace as long as Putin remains committed to these demands -- regardless of the Kremlin's "willingness" to hold talks with Western leaders

Russian ships are soooo derelict, it seems. It never really was a seafaring nation. Even their river ships they tried make sea going were crap and inefficient in being of small size even for internal waterways.

IF they maintain them like they maintained the gas compressor for Nordstream, I'm shocked none have had catastrophic failure resulting in a massive spill.

Every tanker that enters the Baltic sea should be stopped and inspected for safety violations and proof of insurance. Those found lacking should be impounded.

Because you can't see the difference between random individuals going to Ukraine to enlist and foreign power deploying its armed forces.

That's what the Military ID says in my above post. It really is irrelevant either way. Ukraine is using a number of different countries Mercenaries to fight the War. Zelensky loves a good ghost of Kyiv story though
