We didn’t win anything from those wars. We came away weaker. It was the beginning of the end. We gambled our prosperity and lost after fabricating atrocities to get into pointless wars so that the zionists could help introduce the unwashed hordes - the miks, the krauts, the wops, etc - and even worse, the greatest golem of them all, individualism! So your ancestors helped destroy America in reality. Congratulations. Your ancestor helped kill America.

What the hell?

I love Anglican culture, it’s what I grew up with, but I disagree with the reformation, and I think the West generally lost its way with the enlightenment and the rise of Liberalism, especially in the aftermath of the French Revolution. The Orthodox Church is more traditional than even the Catholic Church and has the theological tools to defend itself against the mistakes of modernity in a way that Catholicism no longer does.

So you basically disagree with all of the founding ideals of America. Of course you do.

Everything in the Declaration of Independence comes straight from the Enlightenment.

I’ll swing back to this, but Junger and Guenon explain the problems

Part of the issue is our atomistic ideas about freedom. Duty is a better principle

Every communist agrees with this. No wonder you're happy in a religious denomination led by a former KGB agent.

As a Baptist, I'm reminded that, as late as the 1760s and 1770s, over 30 Baptist preachers were imprisoned in Virginia for teaching contrary to the state church. The idea of religious freedom, though certainly espoused by evangelical Christians, gained its primary support from the Enlightenment, especially Locke and his Letter Concerning Toleration.

That was the philosophical underpinning of the efforts of Jefferson and Madison that ultimately resulted in the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, of which Jefferson was as proud as he was of the Declaration. Without it, the First Amendment likely wouldn't have happened.

It always amazes me when I see people who consider themselves to be patriots who would actually like to see people like me in jail.

Communism is Jewish materialism, and envy

Religious pluralism weakens society and makes it impossible to defend your values.

UPDATE ON UKRAINE
17 November 2024
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE

Russian forces have increased offensive pressure on Kupiansk city, Kharkiv region in north-eastern Ukraine. On 13 November 2024, Russian forces likely attempted to infiltrate Kupiansk from the northeast. The Ukrainian General Staff reported four successive waves of Russian attacks.

To the south of Kupiansk, Russian forces have reached the Oskil river, severing Ukrainian logistics lines on the eastern side of the river. A Russian salient south of Kupiansk has gradually expanded as Russia attempts to increase pressure on Ukrainian forces in the area. Civilian evacuations of Kupiansk and surrounding areas had already been previously ordered by Ukrainian officials on 15 October 2024. The Kupiansk military administration estimates 4,000 remaining civilians in the Kupiansk area. This compares to a pre-war population of 27,000.

Kupiansk is important as it serves as a transportation intersection and logistics hub. The Ukrainians regained control of Kupiansk in September 2022.

So, you chose Russian Orthodoxy because it best fits with the ideal of religious tyranny. On this we agree!

Managed by the Kremlin for almost 80 years. Plus, he forgot how Allahu Akbar is a major religion in Russia

When you volunteer for the military you sign a contract.

Are you claiming those pilots would be physically forced to sign a contract or would it be voluntarily?

ISW Update Nov 16th

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian drone operations continue to play a critical role in constraining Russian mechanized maneuver and preventing Russian forces from fully exploiting Ukraine's ongoing manpower constraints.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine must enter any future negotiations from a position of strength as Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in a negotiated settlement – no matter the negotiating platform or mediator - that results in anything less than Ukrainian capitulation.

Russian forces are innovating their long-range strike packages to include decoy Shahed drones and Shahed drones with thermobaric warheads, likely to confuse and exhaust Ukrainian air defenses and increase the damages of long-range strikes.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has ordered North Korean defense industrial enterprises to begin serial production of likely tactical strike drones – an example of how increasing Russian-North Korean military cooperation allows North Korea to learn from Russia's war in Ukraine.

The Russian military command reportedly arrested and removed several commanders within the Russian 3rd Combined Arms Army [CAA] following inaccurate reports they made about alleged Russian advances near Bilohorivka and repeated outcries from the Russian milblogger community.

Russian forces recently advanced near Svatove, Kreminna, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.

Russian opposition outlet Mediazona reported that the Russian Central Bank has recently issued significantly more loan deferments (credit holidays) for Russian military personnel, indicating that Russian military recruitment rates may have increased.

Russian drones may have entered Moldova during attack on Ukraine

According to the government’s Prima Sursa Telegram channel, the drones disappeared over Rotunda and Verkhni Holohory.
