Yeah, I see that info now. Could definitely be Russian ships.

I'm confused on what Russia wants...to separate the territory because of nazis or disarm Ukraine because they are totally about to build nukes?

And still no sky screaming over Russian propaganda. Apparently the Ukrainians are master propagandists.

Russia? Not so much.

The OSINT technical guy on Twitter seems to believe bad weather could be the reason.

I just looked at the weather over the Black Sea. Surface level Visibility is 5 miles or better in the northwestern Black Sea. Some fairly low ceilings averaging around 750-1000 feet.

Hopefully so. But losing two aircraft raises big red flags.

Bad weather isn't gonna bring down a fighter and a helicoptor. Too many variables for the operation of both.

Apparently, you don't know my role around here.

Just sit back and observe, my friend. Everything is done for a reason.

They are worried about NATO encroaching on their borders. So, they decided to move their borders closer to NATO.

Not really. I mean it’s not terrible but it’s also not great either. Definitely dicey for a helicopter. The clouds seem to go from about 1000’ to 4-5000’. There is probably some icing associated with it that could have brought down the mig. Not sure what kind of anti icing systems that plane has. One would assume that 1960’s era jet doesn’t have much but then again it was made in Russia.

It does seem odd that two aircraft went down. The weather is bad enough that a pilot could get disoriented or get caught in some bad icing but two guys in a matter of hours is a stretch.

Puma was found crashed. No report on the Mig yet.

We’ve known for a while that US based security firms are involved, but they’re now actively recruiting.

11km... if they were out of the RoAF 86th near Constanta then they weren't over the Black Sea yet. And thst base operates MiG-21s and IAR-330s.

UPDATE: According to Bangladeshi media, the ship was already in load, waiting to be allowed to sail (depending on Russian Navy Command). One crew died during attack, understood the ship was hit earlier than 1725 LT.

Missile launched from Russian Navy ship hit Bangladeshi bulk carrier BANGLAR SAMRIDDHI, anchored at Olvia Anchorage, Mykolaiv Port area, Ukraine, Black sea. The ship was hit at 1725 LT (UTC +2) Mar 2. Two tugs responding, superstructure is on fire, no injures among crew reported, according to preliminary information. BANGLAR SAMRIDDHI arrived at Olvia on Feb 23, awaiting loading and end of sea blockade. AIS is off.

The count is up to 5 or 6 neutral ships hit. I think this is the first fatality
