Russia had the strongest balance sheet of any major nation before the war started. Very low debt burden. They can afford this.

As far as their military goes, the war is beneficial. They’re gaining a lot of critical experience, and it’s resulted in a rapid modernization of their armed services, especially their ground force. Their military industry has grown dramatically as well. Russia will be more powerful when the war ends, than when it started.

No new military welafre for Ukraine in the emergency extension spending bill.

In absolute terms possibly in relative terms very unlikely.

Brits showing leadership as usual.

The UK’s Defense Secretary Grant Shapps says he plans to send British soldiers to Ukraine to start training Ukrainian soldiers on site and not just in the UK.

other than buying drones from Iran... wtf are you even talking about.

The T14 that was supposed to be in service 4 years ago? And yet is too broken to even see any fighting?

Ukrainian MOD took a time of the day to embarrass themselves. Posted capture of their own soldiers in Zapprozhia claiming it was Russians dresssed in Ukrainian unforms. Except capturing soldiers were in Russian uniforms.

Here's a video of this Ukrainian DRG surrendering:

Putin has totally screwed his own economy. Likely this will last for a decade if not two. That is why a friend who is a former finance director for Gazprom is applying for US citizenship. There is nothing in Russia to go back to for making money.

My views all come from other than any news media.

Have fun and take some more adrenochrome

This is all hilarious.

"Here's a video of a few dead Ukrainian soldiers, which proves Russia is winning!"

Times ten spamming the board.

Does he not know that there are a dozen videos like this from both sides every day? Or does he know and really think that readers of this thread are that vulnerable to stupid Russian propaganda?

Who is loaning money to Russia now? Other than the panic buying in the Spring of 2022 of oil/gas/refined products, their balance sheet is negative now. Their actual profitable export, refined products declined significantly in 2022 and now stopped due not enough diesel for farmers who have been protesting high prices and lack of supply.

No doubt that Russia can maintain quite a bit internally, but the oligarchs will be putting pressure on Putin. This is not any different than the boyars with the tsars

I didn't even mention how nothing was flowing through Nordstream when whoever did the dirty deed which relieved Gazprom of paying penalties for breach of contract after its centrifugal compressors crashed (Siemens offered to provide two brand new ones but Gazprom declined)

There were videos yesterday of the destruction of six Russian artillery pieces and seven tanks. We generally don't post them because those kind of videos are a daily thing for both sides.

You may have seen it yesterday, don't mean it happened recently and certainly not on the same day. A compilation is indeed useless. I'm only posting fresh stuff that came out on Reddit UkraineRussiaReport today that is of some significance militarily or in terms of human cost.
And yes, posters there patrol reposted or archial content.

Should we rely on CNN, NYT or Fox reporting? Oh, the Guardian can always be relied upon to bring you unfiltered cope/s. There's not a one legitimate source of news on this. All you can do is follow the actual footage from both sides to get a rough idea on what's going down. You'll be able to tell about developments 2-3 days before you see headlines on CNN or MSNBC.

Both sides are losing both men and EQ at high rates. Not all show up on video and most don’t show up on the date they happen. Some are compilations of multiple events.

There are site they are tracking losses on both sides based on actual verifiable losses with video/picture documentation.

Both side are taking losses
