Or you're underanalyzing and dismissing what you mentioned. Russians forcing other Russians to die for nationalism. When you have to start forcing your own people to die, you're prolonging the inevitable and making yourself weaker long term. Russia has no long term future if this war continues, it's a demographic and a macroeconomic fact. You'll need able bodied men to take care of economy and all those hadicapped from war, and it's not like Russia was a flourishing economy prior to the war...

More highlights of today's Ukrainian offensive action. Trench is filled with bodies of Ukrainians who tried to storm DPR positions:

And I'm guessing you don't realize or believe Russia has literally the exact issue you describe

Who are you to tell 1000s of Ukrianians who don't want to fight to die for the nationalist regmime? Ukronationalists will cave if they have no military aid, war will be over and we can go back to wasting money on some other shitehole.

You are irrational. Your red drawers are showing.

@Stromy,

Russian and Ukrainian situation is not even comparable. Ukraine is currently 1/7 population size of Russia. Impoverished, no economy, destroyed infrastructure.

As of Dec 1,2022 Russia got an influx of 1.3 million Ukrainian refugees. Add another half mil plus to that, and they're probably net 1 million in population.

Nations draft young men to fight, this is nothing new. You are making no sense.

Here’s a big difference, Ukraine is fighting for their sovereignty as a nation; while Russia is fighting to enlarge their empire and control of another nation.

Both nations have conscripts, but you wail against one side. Why is that?

And just for the record I'm not saying Ukraine isn't having issues and is going to get out of this smelling like roses, but I do think it's funny that you think Russia isn't having any of the same issues you talk about.

That's a hell of a way to downplay it. There is no scenario left where Ukraine comes out of this war not a cripple country half its original size. That was neocons plan for Russia, but all time high commodities prices fixed that issue.

Hating Putin or Russia is clouding your judgement about reality of this war. Russia got rid of many leftists and dissidents, something that's tearing this country apart as we speak. They got rid of huge numbers of prisoners who signed death contracts to go into the trenches. They gained net population from Ukrainian migration, anywhere from 1.3-2 million. They've greatlyh eliminated Ukrainian competition for grain and almost entirely cut off their production of oil and gas.

US has been sanctioning Iran for half a century, and they're not going anywhere. They're more of a thorn in our side than ever before and we're sending them pallets of cash from time to time.

That’s funny because Russia has stalled out at 1/6.

Iran is russias biggest ally in this. Seeing as you support Iran in a proxy conflict I’m not sure why this bothers you.

1. That's such a lame talking point from CNN. So you're supposed to die for a piece of dirt? If someone invades California or NY, am I going to be forced into dying for those leftists who despise me?
Ukraine hasn't been sovereign ever in their history. They weren't even on the map prior to Communist Revolution. Ironically, communists created the Ukrainian construct and their border has been shifting every few years, being a constant source of tension.

2. Show me a video of Russian press brigades patrolling the streets and kidnapping men. I'll show you 10 of those from all parts of Ukraine for each one you can find.

Then you tell me which side relies on forced meat catching.

Over 50% is non military aid. How is that staying in US?

Or is the laundered money being skimmed by the rich men north of Richmond the money making it back to US?

FIFY

I do not know what the outcome of this war eill be; however, I know that Russia has lost thousands of their young men, they have depleted their military stockpiles, depleted their treasury, lost respect in the world community, driven border nations into NATO, and are bogged down in a rather large war with no quick end in sight.

Right now they have little to brag about, little to cheer about, and I’d bet Putin’s food tasters are very uneasy.

You Putin people always use the CNN angle when you are losing the debate. I never watch CNN except on election nights.

I don't seriously engage with anyone who does FIFY childish tantrums. This is the 3rd time on here. It's like having a 5 years old repeating everything you say.

There's no point in such discourse.

There's no debate when you deflect adn type FIFY everywhere.

Russian airspace isn't safe for anyone, even their own planes.

Russia hit Ukrainian train full of armor and vehicles today or this week. Fresh video. Lots of equipment losses, including the train.
