Why do they continue to engage in provocative and escalatory behavior?

It would really be unfortunate if an “accident” happened to those nukes

by trinidadtigerYou guys are quite delusional. Russia has been there for a year, all the weapons the entire western world could muster has not driven them back, yet Russia is losing while they sit firmly in their liberated land.

No we are not.

Ukraine has successfully completed three major counterattacks in the past year. There is no reason to thinkthey can’t do it with a surge of help ftom Westsrn weaponry.

And the next time sone one in the neighborhood has a home invasion, I am going to hope the neighborhood and the cops help them out. I wouldn’t advocate for the bad guys.

Can you imagine thinking giving hundreds of billions (will be trillion) to a foreign country a good idea?

Dnipro River now guarded by 40 Defiant patrol boats

40 Defiant patrol boats which Ukraine received from the U.S. Navy have been spotted in the waters of the Dnipro River.

Footage of such a boat appeared on social media.

This is the first footage with this American boat to be captured on the Dnipro River.

The 40 Defiant patrol boat was developed by Metal Shark based in Louisiana.

The United States announced the transfer of patrol boats last June.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces were to receive six boats of this class.

In addition, Metal Shark is building a batch of patrol boats of three different classes with aluminum hulls for the Ukrainian Navy under American military assistance programs.

These boats include Defiant 38-foot small patrol boats equipped with a closed wheelhouse, Defiant-type 38-foot small patrol boats without a closed wheelhouse, and Fearless 36-foot interceptors boats.

They are being built at Metal Shark facilities in Franklin and Jeanerette, Louisiana, and in 2022 the company said it would “begin shipping these boats immediately”.

Update on Azerbaijan & Armenia:

New activity in Syria:

I think it’s about time for the FAFO response from us to nip this in the bud before the tit for tat goes too far.

That’s awesome. Louisiana’s role in naval history is getting a new chapter.

Agreed. I like Rog, but it is a bit odd to see him continually attempt to make an argument that everyone agrees with. Maybe someone could even take one for the team and argue that it isn't a proxy war to make him feel better.

Short graphic representation of Bakhmut

That's a pretty cool animation from a general overview of things.

I would love to see something like that for some of the more famous battles and/or sieges throughout history. Especially the bigger battles of and since WW1. Interesting to see where the reserves get sent and when. Also interesting how they moved elements already (seemingly) engaged to other parts of the line. Pretty sound defense from my armchair command post.

Does anyone know of a site or social account that does battle accounts similar to this for battles through history? I would love to take a look at some stuff to get the 30,000 foot view.

And Russia has been supplying the LPR/DPR for 8+ years...

What's your point?

With a country that gave up nukes over 20 years ago...

Yet, the Kremlin and it's stooges are the only ones who keep rattling the nuclear sabers.
