You probably should take a break and go outside and enjoy Alaska. For the last 13 years, you have posted an average of 17K posts a year. Let's say it takes 1 min to read a post and respond. That's 278 hours a year you are spending simply on reading and replying to posts. Of course, that doesn't count the sheer amount of time you spend reading and not making a reply. This really can't be healthy.

I am pretty sure the Joint Assult Bridge (JAB) has the same gap clearance as the old AVLB based on the M60 which is 60ft or a little over 18m. What the JAB brings to the party is that it can keep up with the MBTs and has a higher load rating because the old AVLB was marginal for an M1A2.
When I moved from active to reserves I moved from Infantry to Engineers so I played with AVLBs, built Bailey bridges and pontoon bridges during EOAC at Fort lost in the woods but I have never seen an actual bridge unit work. My battalion was attached to a chemical brigade so just a standard corp mobility/countermobility unit without any specialized equipment.
