Dude that might be the dumbest post in site history. There might be 2-3 posters in this thread who have ever voted Democrat for in their life. The vast overwhelming majority of posters in this thread are solid if not hardcore conservatives. They just aren’t nut job, conspiracy theory loving extremists like you.

I would have figured the Russian population would be zero by now, according to reports in this thread. They shouldn't have men nor equipment left by now.

I've even heard that they're using helicopters to kill their own! This is just an incredible one sided war.
Russia's own ministry of defense has said they've evacuated Kharkiv...I don't know what else you want as information, but they've lost like 3,000 sq km of ground in like a week

There is no question both sides here are taking significant casualties but the chances the numbers we see are accurate is as likely as 2007 Derby beating the Arsenal Invincibles to put a Brit perspective on it.

Completely agree with you, especially the body count!

My last post linked to a report of over 2,000 Russian tank losses, meantime Oryx reports a little over 1,000. True number probably somewhere in between. Still, a staggering amount.

Nice reference to The Invincibles... PNE were the first "Invicibles".. but that Arsenal team

The Russian take on the regrouping is that they have lured the UkraNazis from their foxholes and that over 10k have been killed to gain strategically useless land.

A herculean effort. It was only 10-15 years ago that all pipelines for natural gas were one direction from Louisiana, some from Texas and some from the Rockies to the Midwest and East. As fields offshore Louisiana began to become depleted, though some still produce after 70 years, a major LNG terminal was built to receive LNG at Sabine Pass (Louisiana) to connect to those major pipeline networks.

When tight shale gas began to be produced in the Midwest and East, some pipelines were reconfigured to be bi directional, flow was able to be either way, this was more a reconfiguration of the pipeline compressor stations. The major interstate pipelines already existed. The need had to be economically justified by each pipeline with buyers and producers (actually gathering pipelines) signing letters of intent or even contracts ahead of time.

Are NEW pipelines being built from the Iberian Peninsula? I don't think that is the case. Will they connect the hub in Austria or in the Netherlands? The former being for Russian natural gas and the later for gas from the depleting giant Groningen field where the European pricing hub is located. Groningen is really a local supply for Benelux more than for Europe, and has been since post WWII when discovered.

Conversely, Russia and China are building a new pipeline to China which begins at the Caspian area and alongside a small pipeline to Russia's east coast with a small line going to China It will be 50% capacity of Nordstream 1. It will not be in operation until 2025. The planning for this began several years ago to expand production in the Caspian area, not as an alternative to the European market.

Russia is finally shipping LNG from a terminal near the Finnish border, it was supposed to be operational in 2019. One does not viola increase LNG liquefaction. These are large plants which operate much like an air separation plant to cool the methane into a liquid state. The capacity is what it is designed to be. You still have to design, order the large equipment in chiller compressors, cold boxes and coolers to expand production. It's really like building a new plant alongside the existing one, but uses the same pipeline feeds and dock to load ships. Here in Louisiana just some interconnection has to be expanded unlike elsewhere, to major pipelines. Elsewhere more capacity in major pipelines has to be added. A less efficient alternative is FLNG but to liquify then new ones have to be built. For evaporation to gas, there are existing ones ready to lease, which is what Finland has already accomplished and Germany is in the process of accomplishing, just connection to the shore and existing gas pipeline.

Not only has NATO rejected Ukraine’s application 3 times in the last 15 years, but Ukraine agreed to withdraw its NATO application back in February if a peace agreement with Russia was reached. They proposed that the weekend before Russia recognized the DPR and LPR and launched this invasion of Ukraine.

Again, we have to continually point out that Russia could have gotten half of what they wanted with barely any negotiation. They specifically wanted to prevent Ukraine's ascension to NATO and wanted NATO forces out of the Baltics. The first was entirely possible and the second was impossible. The Russians knew that NATO wouldn't concede to the second demand, as it would be utterly insane, which made the entire pre-war negotiations a farce and again, another sign of the endless amount of Russian bad-faith.

I was never "with her". I voted for Gary Johnson that cycle. Further, I seriously doubt you could find a single post of mine in which I ever said anything supportive, or even nice, about her. But this is case in point of just how delusional you are

1. Russia has a population of 145,000,000 ppl. The Russians only invaded with 200,000 or so Russian troops.

2. The equipment loses that Russia has sustained are huge. They are still calculating the total but it’s safe to say that Russia has lost 50% of its top line equipment.

3. The Russians using helicopters on troops in Kherson has been confirmed. The troops being fired upon were separatist militias but still Russian allies.

4. Sorry that you are upset because Russia is getting embarrassed.
