What is not speculative is that Ukraine gave up their nukes because of promises that were made... It would have been a really bad idea not to honor those promises.

And that promise was to help Ukraine retain its sovereinty, including Crimea. There can be no peace, no negotiations until Russia leaves the totality of the independent state of Ukraine.

There are enough major differences in the symbol on her patch and the Nazi Sun symbol to conclude that they are not the same.

You forgot about the Aegis Ashore missile system in Poland and Romania as well as the naval deployment of Aegis equipped destroyers to Finland. Thanks to this war the USA and NATO are in a much better position to defend against a nuclear attack than we were last year.
